FISA BC is a non-profit society registered with the Corporate and Personal Property Registries office, Ministry of Finance of BC, Victoria, British Columbia. Approximately 300 of the 350 independent schools in BC are voluntary members of FISA BC, representing 94% of the total independent school enrolment (2017/2018).
Independent schools in BC receive no public funding for capital or maintenance costs on land, buildings, and equipment.
